The smoke in this looks great, adds quite the sense of action to the scene.

Nicely reenacted war scene captured at the right time to show the moment the musket fires.

nice moment but its shame you cant see the whole rifle..

The crop is a little too tight, and would have preferred a shot from a different perspective.

I am struggling to pick a word to describe this amazing image. I especially like the firework-like sparks shooting out of the smoke. Great job!
Post actions
Nice capture but feels rather cramped.

So much smoke from a gun!
Post actions
That weapon looks dangerous to the user as well as to whatever he's pointing at! Great colors on the smoky fire.

Terrific capture. The plume, the flare, the uniform - all make it feel very revolutionary!

Nice action shot, probably would be even that much better if the entire rifle was in frame.

Timely capture. I just wish it were sharper. Is it a crop?
Post actions
I think this would have worked better with more of his face in view and maybe not the end of the muzzle cut off..

I have to wonder with the sparks flying like that if these guys get singed now and then!

Nice timing.... no wonder they had trouble hitting anything.

Wow, talking about capturing a moment perfectly, well done!

Nice stop action on the gun going off. Good detail and story.

Cool close up, I like that we can see the fire.

Fort Wayne used to have re-enactors at the Fort, and the Johnny Appleseed festival is also from this approximate period. Great shot & capture.

Nice work. Know how 'easy' it is to get thses shots. I have a shot of a cannon going off at a reenactment that shows the 'fire' coming out.. Slapped ya witht a 9

Great capture of the firing! Could use some editing to make it look more dramatic.

Fantastic timing. Very interesting shot.

Good timing. The glow of the shot is very interesting along with the smoke of the black powder. I even see sparks or particles shooting up beyond the smoke. Very good catch.
