Looks like a tall waterfall. A bit dark in the foreground, but almost helps waterfall stand out more.

Wow I love this different perspective on the waterfall. The overall scene dwarfs it, giving a really unique and cool sense of scale. Very nice.

At first the waterfall looks small, but a closer examination betrays the immense size of the canyon, very nice..

Very expansive. The sky is great, and the right half of the mountains. The front left looses a bit of detail.

Very cool location. I could probably have used less of the sky and more of the snow on the mountain and waterfall.. But then it would be a pretty cliched DPC shot, wouldn't it? Never mind, I like it how it is. :)

My second thought when I looked at this pic was 'this pic is better than it looks'. Of course that doesn't make any sense, but it is a very unusual POV and there are some things I like about the shapes of the clouds, the shape of the water and the appearance of the snow blotches that definitely help me understand why you felt this was your 'hidden gem'.

So +1 for that 'second look'.
