 Had just purchased my new 50mm lens and TCGuru had started giving me tips on improving my lighting and sharpness. I have some photo since that have been much sharper, but this one is one of my favorites as far as lighting. I have one shop light on the right and one shop light behind the subject. I wish I had shot this at f/4 for a sharper photo. I ran this through virtual photographer for the sepia look. I ran it through portraiture to clean up the noise and other minor imperfections.

interesting shot, this is a hard one to get just right, too much light? too little light? this is somewhere in between imo. I think just a little more definition on the left would have provided more information to define the elements without ruining the mood jmo

Love your use of shadows here. The draw the lines for me and do it well. I enjoy this type of shot because it does allow me to paint the rest of him on my own. You choice of color blends so well. Very nice work!

really like the editing, light behind subjects head...and how could I vote against Indiana Jones!! I was going to say you could have cropped off the some of the bottom half of the photo...but I can see how that wouldn't work...
