 This is my dog, Lucy, after playing in the snow. Unfortunately, it's a little blurry but it was printed in the local paper so I thought it would be good enough to submit it on here. Hope you like it!

:)) cuute but the quality is not so good it looks a bit blur and the flash didnt help it , its still dark too, just four sorry ;D

Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. On my calibrated monitor, I am having trouble picking out any detail in the dog's face. If I could see more, I would undoubtedly like it better.

I feel it is too close in on the dog. It just looks like a black ball with some snow on it.

I don't think Lucy is having much fun in this photo :-) Seems like there was some movement which is providing a little bit of distraction, but that's what happens with dogs. Keep trying, Lucy seems like a great model.

black dog in white snow=tough subject!! Its pretty blurry, tell that dog "still!", and get a tripod.

Talk about tough exposure: black dog in snow! I think it could stand a touch of brightening and a contrast boost. She has a very sweet expression. Looks like she moved a bit (from her nose to the right has motion blur) just to make the exposure even more complicated.

sorry, this is probably a nice dog, but her eyes seem to say: "Nah, you're too close and there is not enough light for a short exposure to freeze my motion - this won't be a good photo!"
