I remember this one - truly a very good moment captured! Some have commented it is a bit "flat" but I can see where it may be just as intended and soft rather than flat. But have you re-edited this with a bit more contrast? Delightful, this!

She sighed and smacked her head. Why was this her lot in life? Why had she been born the only girl into a family of five siblings? Why did her brothers have to be so damned goofy?

She lifted the camera once more, and desperately pleaded with them to just give her one, ONE shot that she could send to their parents for their birthday. She pleaded with them to just settle down for ONE MEASLY SHOT.

And, to her surprise, they seemed to capitulate. They settled down. They gave her wonderful smiles, and she shouted with joy and lifted the camera and...

... she hated her brothers.

Although this suffers from lack of sharpness, there is something powerful and unsettling in the subjects and their relationship to the camera that you've captured.

could use some sharpening

Awesome capture and presentation. Gorgeous. A bit more contrast and a slightly sharper focus would improve this IMO.

A nice photo, good subject matter, doesn't seem quite in focus though.

You've captured good texture in the fur and in the horns. The focus seems to be a bit off though. The eyes that are clearly visible are slightly out of focus. Closing down the lens a bit would of helped with that but wouldn't bring the background into focus.

Perfect title. Their gaze is quite unnerving to be honest. Great shot though. Well done and good luck for the rest of the challenge.

I like this.. but I think it would also look cool in a sepia or b&w with some dark contrasts added. 6

Very cool creatures, aren't they?! Interesting how they're all bunched up together with those large horns. I think the composition is a little off and some more contrast/sharpening would have made them *pop*

Interesting composition going on in the right half of the image. I might consider cropping it down to the three heads on the right, that's much more interesting than the image as a whole.

The horns on these guys are great, I like that the one at the back is trying to look over the top of the others to see you, obviously not camera shy!

Cool, I like the guy in the back giving us the shifty eye.

Great family portrait. The one of the left is in charge, the one on the right is shy, the one in front is stoned, and they one in the back is up to no good :-)

Unfortunately, these girls are all a little soft and consequently this has drawn from the overall effect of the image. it seems like slow shutter speed more than focus. Nice DOF, though. good luck: 5.
