This is adorable! I love photos of cardinals in the snow and I love that this one actually has snow on her head....great detail.

| I've been trying for months to get into birding, so I can truly appreciate this image. The bird itself is beautiful, the coloring is excellent and the pose of the bird is great. Add to this bird a snowfall and you have composed an image to be proud of. Hope this is going on a wall somewhere :) 9 |

Such a beautiful shot. Reminds me of a favorite child hood poem
The north wind doth blow
and we shall have snow
but what will poor robin do then?
He'll sit in the barn
and keep himself warm
and hide his head under his wing
poor thing
Although this is a cardinal, it made me remember a happy time with my mom read that poem to me. The movement of the snow and her touch of crimson is lovely against the arched steel gray of the "perch." |
