The sheer size of the mountain is huge, and the homes provide scale for that. I just with the photo was larger.

The composition of this works really well to show the "massiveness" fo the hillside. However, it does seem to suffer from compression artifacts and/or oversharpening.

I would love to stand where yo stood and drinkit all in. I suspect our small DPC format doesn't do this photo justice. Among best in class.

Absolutely love ghost towns. Very interesting background - looks like a talus slope - maybe a mining town at one time?

really cool how the natural lines on the hill lead down to the house, and then you have the leading lines of the road coming at you from a different direction, very well seen
