I mistook you for Melethia--best compliment ever :-)

Thanks for the vote and the compliment!

Cool perspective. I really love all the shapes in this, from the round lights to the lines on the ground and train. The silhouetted people just make this shot that much more interesting to me! 9.

I like the how the little boy is clutching his special stuffed animal. I get the sense that they are patiently waiting for the Mother to arrive home. touching.

Which is your subject? The father and the son? The cold metal and stone that surrounds them and reminds us of life itself, not heeding us? I guess it's both. Very powerful composition and overall an image that leaves an impression.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. "Hey dad, when we get there can I swim in the lake first?" the little boy asks as he holds tightly to his favorite stuffed animal. The father smiles and looks down at his son and replies with a yes. His son is growing so quickly as he reflects that he rarely gets to spend quality time with him because of long work hours at the office. This is the story that unfolds before me when I gaze upon this wonderful B&W photo. I see this father and son going off together on a trip to spend quality time together and bond. Love the B&W tones for they are very dynamic in range. I also like how you composed the shot with the train off to the left and the line of spherical lights to the right that act as both a frame and the outline to the middle path that this father and son walk. Our eye is directed instantly to them as they walk to their destination. Great storytelling photo capture!!!
