Part of a series I shot one really foggy morning this week. The photos aren't nearly as awesome as the actual scene, but I like them anyway.

Virtually no post processing other than USM, quadtoning, and a little burning. I considered cloning out the sign on the left, but really - it was there, so why not leave it in?

Thanks for looking.

I think this is a great photo, but you probably need to have a longer shutter time.

Very mysterious and good job getting the exposure just right. This would look great hanging on the wall.

I really like what you have here. Did you burn the bottom left and right corners? The darkness doesn't look natural. Good luck.

Mystical, threatening, highly atmospheric. Love the sense of light tailing off into the corners (i'm sure there's a technical term for that, but can't bring it to mind at the moment). The street-sign adds an element of potential information to the scene, as though there might actually be a destination ahead, as peple might come from that direction ... only who are they?

Beatiful photo. Too bad that street sign is over to the right. Nice center of the road. The bottom corners are a bit dark though. I love the fog. Though the focus should be on the line in the center in the road, the trees pull you outward, which takes away from "dead center", but it's still very very nice. I see the end of the road is dead center and the feel is so great! 9

too much foreground? 8

The foreground trees seem too crisp, perhaps a reduction in contrast would help. Nice composition! 7

I like the foggy mysterious look on this photo, but it;s too dark for me in the foreground. The stripe on the road is not quite straight (it has a curve) and it bothers..a straight line into the fog would have been great! Also I think the trees on the side of the road don't add up to the story, in a sense they're even distracting, because my eyes tend to keep looking at them, while all you want to is my eyes to be drawn to the fog. Another crop would have been okay. All in all, not bad, but not good either for me...

Excellent capture, quite moody. I think you got the light right so that we focus in the center. Nice job.
