 This pic was the first "GREAT" amateur picture of my photography hobby. I took this at 10:15am on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 just as I was getting ready to get off at noon from work. This picture was taken close to Pahokee Florida on top of the dike surrounding Lake Okeechobee. I took this picture with my first camera, a Kodak EasyShare 815Z. I recently purchased a Nikon D40 with the 2 lens package. This photo has not been enhanced in anyway. This is natural beauty in the simplest form.

Lovely capture, nice and sharp. I think the processing could have been better... It lacks 'punch'.

Nice capture, however I think that placing the eagle in the center is not the best choice. I would have placed it to the left giving it more "freedom" to fly.

Very nice dramatic shot, nice focus on his body and face. The light is just a little flat, maybe boosting the highlights a wee bit would help.

Excellent post and base for the Eagle. Isn't that lake in Florida? I didn't realize Bald Eagles went that far South.

I would have liked to see slightly more contrast in this to bring out the texture in the wings. Nice pose of the bird.
