This was judged very harshly for not fitting the challenge and for its post-processing. The processing really appeals to me, but I tend to restrict this kind of thing to my personal photos because I know how people vote here. Don't be discouraged by this score - a lot of people scored you much higher.

Great processing, shot and a great looking girl.

This is beautiful. I didn't vote, but I'm commenting on photos that stand out to me. This one really grabs me, and your attempt at a metaphorical interpretation of the challenge, while not scoring well, is very interesting.

The "illusion" in this photograph that I intended what that we all hide behind "masks," our own private illusions. And nope, that's not Stockard Channing. Just me.

The pushed contrast works very well here. How DID you get Stockard Channing to pose for you? Jak 8

Nice title and all, but I'm not quite sure this is the type of illusion that fits the challenge. Your really not tricking me here.

Fairly good color on B & W. Not sure fits this challenge. Looks more like a painting.
10/29/2002 11:33:00 PM
Neat pic, but how is this an illusion?
10/28/2002 10:42:00 PM
Cool "Artzy" looking photo. Not sure what the illusion is though. Am I missing something?

Powerful image, but I'm confused by the challenge aspect? Could you please explain it to me? To me, this looks more like a painting than a photo. As an asbract work, this appeals to me, as a photo, not so much. 6 Swash

Can you let me know how you did this? Great shot!

it doesn't look much like a photograph... just me tho... pet peeve... post processing to this extent changes an image from a photograph into what I consider digital art... - setzler

Would do well in a photoshop competition - too much processing for here I feel.

It's not that true, is it?
