This was judged very harshly for not fitting the challenge and for its post-processing. The processing really appeals to me, but I tend to restrict this kind of thing to my personal photos because I know how people vote here. Don't be discouraged by this score - a lot of people scored you much higher.
This is beautiful. I didn't vote, but I'm commenting on photos that stand out to me. This one really grabs me, and your attempt at a metaphorical interpretation of the challenge, while not scoring well, is very interesting.
The "illusion" in this photograph that I intended what that we all hide behind "masks," our own private illusions. And nope, that's not Stockard Channing. Just me.
