 After trying to get the affect using standard jigsaws without any luck I eventually had a large puzzle piece cut from a sheet of black card.
The black jigsaw piece is standing on a pile of coins all on top of a sheet of glass.
Under the glass was a lamp and between the card and the glass was a sheet of green gel.

Very little editing just a bit of B&C H&S and USM.

Simple and great! I love that green tint, interesting setup, thanks for explaining, I would have never thought of this.

Ooh, I like this, I was imagining something like this for somebody else's picture. Simple but fun to look at and definitely meets the challenge. Good job.

Very cool indeed. Great work with the negative space. Might have tried using the same green in the border.
