I have done this photo before, and even before I did it, other DPC members have done this photo as well. So... the idea completely lacks originality, but I wanted to submit it anyway. This is my favourite of my 'Apple with light trail' shots to date, so I guess I am getting better. Hope the voters agree.

Years ago, when I first discovered this site, I saw a photo by hokie, which I absolutely loved.

Since then, I have been trying to re-create the image.

First attempt - Oct 2006

Second attempt - July 2008

And now, this entry.

Post Challenge
I am ecstatic about the ribbon. I thought this would do well, but never thought it would ribbon, let alone the blue.

Thanks for the votes, and comments everyone. Hopefully I will have a photo on the front page again soon.

How did you do it? How did you get the light to face the camera the entire time? a bare bulb or laser?

As I said, a 6 because I've seen it so many times before, but can't take away a ribbon win, so congrats on that.

It certainly isn't easy to do.
