Best of the set. Excellent composition and processing. If I were to change anything it would be the smudge bottom centre and maybe clone out the stone by his right thigh (nitpicking here btw).

One for your wall Sir.

This is another great compilation of photos. This one in particular is striking. The blues and greys and bird all work to enhance this.

I really like this one. What did you bribe him with to walk like that?

He's too young to have so much emotion like this :) Absolutely stunning.

Two lonely travelers. Great pairing of bird and boy.

The whole series is charming but this image is my favorite, it is amazing! Something about seeing such a little kid in such an adult pose is heart wrenching in a way, and the soft blue tones add to the mood.

Nice Winter beach shot. It shows the temperature, wind, gray sky, and I can't think of the word I want for 'emptiness/lack of people'.

P.S. I like the border too.

this is a very intriguing image - the composition and color palette of this image makes him look older than he is, giving the image in interesting depth.

Oh the bird!! This is fabulous. Riley is wise beyond his years here, deep in thought.

Such a somber feel to this, maybe he lost his Pokemon card in the ocean(I'm out of touch with what's hip now). A great shot!

Oh, my, he looks so serious. And he's growing up so fast - his posture is older now. Very nice use of LB and love the bird. Simply a lovely photograph.

Ken - there is so much to like about this shot, the great composition and use of selective focus, the gentle muted tones, the visual depth with Riley right at the front of the frame going all the way back to the barely there headland.

The choice of frame nicely compliments the whole ethos of the lens baby shot with it varying in sharpness at different stages around the picture. There is also the pleasing angle created by the waves, the gentle tension of three different directions of movement - the waves in one direction, the gull in the exact opposite and Riley following the shore line in the third.

This is all tied together with the last two aspects (if you've even got this far) firstly Rileys posture - hood up, head down, hands shoved in pockets, and last of all the title - tying it together, adding a gentle sombreness, almost poignancy to the shot.

Alternatively he was wandering along the beach on a blustery day wishing he was at home in the warm :- )

Cool shot - best we don't let you do any more camera upgrades if you are going to start doing these sort of pictures . .

;- )

Very cool pic, Ken! I love the story that it tells (probably much different for every viewer). Great processing.
Well done :O)
