Like I thought, it wouldn't score well being a kid snap. The 16x24 does look more impressive.

More of a snap shot type image, cute kid, nice scene, not likely to get high marks but I am sure will be a family treasure. |

Cute looking kid. Photo is very average snapshot. Lighting is very flat. Subject is getting blended in the BG. You need to use Shallow DOF for this kind of shot. Processing is also not upto mark. One of my low scoring picture, sorry. |

All he needs is a parrot. What would it look like with a tighter crop so the pirate is more the focus of attention? This picture is centered. off center might make it more interesting. |
