Hey Neil,
Sorry about the stuff up. I had all of my images, both original and edited are in a separate folder in my portfolio titled 2009 Archive Photo a Week. The only problem was that I had created the new folders in my workshop folder. This stupidity has now been rectified. BTW thanx for the comments. The banding in the first edit was created with an iridium filter. I was trying to replicate a previous process and unfortunately failed miserably.

Regards
Greg

Very nice, BG is good. I think a cross between the two edits would be good. Just keep the detail of the fly on the previous one with this Bg.

Gregory--in the future, could you put your APAW shots together in a folder, so we can navigate between them easily?

Beautiful editing of a great original. I love the colours, and for some reason the reversal seems more comfortable. Is it coz we read left to right?

A nice warm edit with lovely tones that suit the dragonfly

From I assume your 100mm f/2.8. The tight crop, enlarged - reversed, edits are detailed & very good. I especially like the extremely beautiful original for environ and space on it.

Yes! The no frills version works. Nicely framed, and good job with the background.

This is my favorite edit, Greg. What you've done to the background really makes the dragonfly stand out.

This is by far the best edit. The dragonfly not only is separated but compliments the background.

This edit works best for me, I really, really like the saturated golden colors here.

Definitley the better of the two edits, though I do find the colors to be slightly on the unnatural side of saturation. Could just be me. Dragonflies are always cool. There's such a variety.

What an amazing transformation. I love the golden color and the bug looks so sleek! I always tell Roz that I hate bug photos, lol, but this one looks pretty cool.
