A well spotted scene and I too like the red strong lettering it grounds me to the image. I was like Roz and thought she was in pain LOL

I like the colours and clarity in this version. So she's taking a photo? I thought she was doubled up with a tummyache.

Really interesting! Nice colors. I think I would have straightened it a little too, but that's just me!

I love how the color pops out at the viewer. The irony of the "Muse" being closed and the photographer is just fantstic. The tilt is intresting for me, the lines in the photo all drive the viewer to the left creating the question; "Just what the hell is she shooting?"

That's quite the shot coming from an older camera like that... just proof that it's the photographer, not the camera. Good eye to capture your muse.

I really like the vibrant colors and I agree with Neil and Gregory's comments about the tilt. Great capture!

I really like the pop of the lettering in the reds that you did it really helps them stand out. Also like that you enchanced the blues. I find it a-museing (pun intended) that the person in the photo has a camera also, makes me wonder what they are taking a photo of.

Like this edited version heaps more. I would be inclined to do what Neil nshapiro suggested and maybe skew the top of the window and the side of the building.
Maybe something like this??? JMO

Great catch! Editing looks good, though I'd be tempted to suggest "trying" some perspective correction with this, at least to the point of resolving some of the "perceived" tilt.

ha - what great timing for you. do you remember what she was taking a picture of? i laugh to think of me getting in that position to take a pic - it would take me a while to stand up again lol

I love the vibrant colors in this compared to the original.

Darn it! I shouldn't have read the previous comments until I figured out what she was doing. Love the colors and the name of the empty store. I like too that you remember what you were doing when you took the photo.

PAW (for my 2009 goal counting purposes) - That's a camera? I couldn't figure it out but thanks for pointing it out. I love the contrasting colors, the seemingly out of place woman on her knees and the perspective on the storefront, first making me think it's unlevel one direction, then the other. It adds an element of chaos emphasizing the title. It looks like the muse is available immediately. Nicely done post-processing.
(ETA) Oops! I'm in the wrong PAW thread, but I hope my comment was helpful.

What a nice find! And hey, the Muse is available, too - right place, right time! :-) I like her approach to getting the shot. Nice work with the processing - I need to learn to work the USM stuff a bit more, so I shall take note of your settings and play around a bit. Thanks for including the info.

I find that the storefront title and the photographer work really well together. Either it was coincidence that she was there in front of the store for you, or you were staking it out for hours, waiting for the right opportunity. Nice photo overall. The colours and sharpness were enhanced nicely, and this might also look nice in black and white.

i love the change from an interesting photograph to one that's got punch .. the crop seems to give more drama to the girl .. now with the vibrancy of your colours its not only interesting but visually appealing as well .. it still creates questions .. like why is the girl hunched over like that .. has she received some very bad news, is she suffering physically, etc etc .. questions are a good thing .. it'll probably be a different scenario for each viewer depending on their own experiences ...:)
ahha ... after writing all that and looking at this photograph quite a lot i finally see that she seems to have a CAMERA .. !!! .. from a girl who looks to be in pain this has changed totally .. she's another photographer .. i like that she appears to be using the metal hoop thing as a frame or something for her own photograph ... great shot, great process .. an interesting five minutes i've spent looking at it and pondering .. :)

You really brought out the colors nicely. The crop and angle work well.
