 this is katee who i'm thinking would really love little charlie for christmas .. to eat . !!
they're getting used to each other with the bars between them so i hope that katee will start seeing the bird as a friend rather than as a possible tasty treat .. she licks her lips when looking at the bird .. the bird isnt fazed at all by katee tho ..
when the bird starts talking and saying 'katee' .. maybe katee will see him as a 'person' rather than a meal .. :)

LOL, Nice perspective shot. You will find that birds that have an attitude have no concept of size. If they don't try to fly, then they have no fear of anything or anyone. I hope that Charlie becomes all that you hope that he will be. Budgies make the sweetest of little companions.

Oh, now that's TOO funny, made me laugh out loud! That big, glaring, hungry eye...truly hilarious. Poor Katee, so curious! Good thing Charlie is so composed. And aren't you the clever girl -- yes, teach Charlie to say Katee, that oughta slow her down!

My dogs learned really quickly not to mess with the parrot. Given the relative sizes of our dogs and birds Charlie should be able to similarly train Katee with a few well-placed nips ;-)
