well, I must say this got me further than I expected...
due to lack of time, final contrast and compression was done in Microsoft Office Picture Manager >:o(
The CD does not stand out well enough
The keys draw the attention away from the subject
I don't like the flare on the top right side of the typewriter
I was a bit agressive cropping from the left
background a bit too white

well, at least there's plenty of room for improvement ;o)

It's a little noisy. I like the sepia tone and the angle very much.

had to look twice to see the CD, and then it looked 'out of place' but not opposed

I like the idea, but the CD seems to get lost in the picture.

Neat idea. I would have liked the perspective to be as if you were typing.

it took me a minute to find the cd in the typewriter, it would have been good if it stood out more.

Without the CD-ROM this is something that I would definately consider hanging in my home. A very nice shot.

As for following the challeng, I believe it does so nicely.

If you can reshoot this without the CD-ROM and possibly do something to even out the lighting in the background this would make a decent print. (In my neophyte opinion)

Funny! Didn't notice the CD at first. I like this one. would be better if it wasn't compressed so much
