The ground does not offer much contrast for the ankles and feet. Maybe taking th picture from ground level would help. That would also emphasize the height of a bird designed to be tall. The lighting could also be improved.

This is a cool rusted item but this dead on perspective doesn't capture the liveliness of the sculpture. That background is plain boring and it takes up the bulk of the frame. It looks like you were too concerned with getting the entire sculpture in the shot. That's not necessary to make a powerful statement. The only reason you would need to have the whole bird in the shot is for pure representational documenting.

Seems a tad too sharp (especially the legs)and the background doesn't help as well.
