light from the flash is a bit harsh

The lighting appears too harsh, washing out the colours somewhat.
Nice choice and fits the challenge well.

I'm glad you told me it wa a lizard because I doubt if I would have been able to recognize it.

a little on the bright side.. less light or shot later in the day would help. the texture and contrast of the rock makes the lizard not stand out very well (though this was probably beyond your control, as it looks attached to the rock). also, the focus appears to be near the center of the body, thus making the head a little out of focus. otherwise nice colors

I would have pulled the lizard down away from the wall some more. It seems too crowded at the top too empty at the bottom.

It blends a bit in with the background and because of that it is a bit unclear. Might have been better to move a bit closer.

This photo strikes me as funny - kinda looks like a vomiting lizard. Might be a good candidate for selective coloring if this were an advanced editing rules challenge to up the contrast between the sculpture and the rock.

Another great shot spoiled by a flash attached to the camera. Disable your flash, get a tripod, and take more pictures!

this is lacking something, maybe taken at a different angle this would be more dramatic, this has good potential
