Photographer’s Notes There has been some forum noise about shoehorn photos, how to rate them, should they get ones, and so on. Lacking a studio, access to models, and imagination, I decided to show case Photographer Man whose super power is Shoehorn Photography – Slips Easily into Narrow Challenges.
Obviously the shoe (my daughter’s) is a metaphor for a narrow challenge … something like “Super Powers,” for example.
Maybe somebody will get the lame attempt at humor – and if so, it will have been worth it. I don’t expect it to score well and I do expect a bunch of DNMC comments. So be it. I’m shooting for myself here. My prediction: Either a 4.4 or a 6.3. Anything in between while possible, seems improbable.

I was very surprised to see this came in under my own shoehorn entry. It's well lit, sharp and detailed. I would have thought this good for at least a low 5. Only thing I can think of is that it truly was a shoehorn, where mine had some lame superhero figures in it. I would not be true to myself If I did not give you a shoehorn award for both the humor and the shoehorn. Display it proudly or ignore it at your own risk. Mwahahahaha!!!!
I humbly accept the award with all due respect to the academy and my critics, and with profound disappointment in the Nobel nominating committee. I will proudly display it on my profile page.
