I think this is a beautiful shot. I like how the light just passes through the shell to actually show that there's nobody home. Good title too! I give u a 10 - vw4lyfe

too much shadow, the shadow takes over the picture.

excellent photo... i love the glow created within the shell by your light... the surface texture here is also very nice :) great shot... - setzler

This may have been better if somebody was at home. Nice strong shadow though, and I like the way the shell colours the material.

Strange. Appears to be a B & W with color. I like the color of the shell on the material below it. I would have cropped it a little differently. I would have gotten the whole shell shadow and then a little to set it off. But that's my personal thing.

nice and quit. : ) good composition.

I like the glowing underneath the shell, it's a warmth element to this pic. Framing is pretty good, lighting is pretty good. Nothing is bad, nothing is exceptional. Good luck. - Inspzil

Beautiful textures, nice lighting. Using the translucent shell was a great idea. The ridges of light and dark across the top (looks like the fabric was slightly rippled) keep drawing my eye away from the subject. I know it's a small thing, but there ya go, it's what I'm seeing.

I Like the simplicity and the shadows of this.

I like the idea. The glow and shadow work nicely, as does the negative space at the top. A slightly larger separation between the shadow and the bottom of the frame might have helped the shot. 6 wingy

Ooooh - I just voted on a run of low scorers - This is really nice- I like a lot of things. Of course the lighting is perfect. But also the composition is nicely balanced and the colors are great together, The textures of the shell contrast with whatever the fabric that it sits on is. And I like the focus very much, esp how hit fades out at the top and how it is very sharp unde the shell. In fact, as I look at it I think the focus of the picture, where your eye gets drawn to by the likes of the shell and the lines of the shadow is the line of light just under the shell, like something is waiting to come out there. Really nice! (sorry, I didn't mean to write a book)

Nice shot. The subject is in a good location for this shot, and the shadow works quite well. Not "high impact" for me, but still a good, solid shot. - 7 - JB
