I think if the emphasis were on the thirds rather than dividing the pic in half, I might like the visual impact better.

I might have cropped this a bit tighter... there's alot of empty sky... but it's well photographed and colorfully pleasing. (not voting yet)

nice fireworks - it seems that the negative space above is unnecessary but the ground below would be really beneficial to the shot
