 I would have loved to come up with a better idea, because there's basically nothing really puzzling in the shot.

It's the lens of a CDROM/DVD drive.

Rotate, crop, USM, clone out some dirt on the lens.

A stumper, so meets the challenge. Feels like a post-industrial abstract and for its genre, it's well done. I'm not resonating with the subject so much, however.
