Seems to be a bit out of focus, or perhaps overexposed near the flames. I'm sure in a dark background this would be difficult to get clean exposure on everywhere.

The idea is really neat, but the picture suffers from uneven lightingfrom front to back.

Great idea! I would prefer a little more even lighting on the cake. The foreground (especially the lower left rose) is a bit dark.
