Very simple, yet very effective. Great sharpness. The reddish colour inside is great, the reddish colour reflection on the outside of the "button" itself is a bit annoying though. Still a 7 for me.

Doorbell buzzer with the button missing? Nah. Looks like it had a screw in it at one time.

Speaking of your title, You might appreciate my own shot that gave me a similar idea. Perhaps I should have gone back and photographed it again for this challenge.
