I just wanted to say that I never would have guessed that this was the top of a beer can. I wondered what it was during the voting period... Cool picture.

A pop top on a soft drink can. Very nicely lit and detailed, btw.

Spanner?
Interesting. I quite like the composition here. Maybe a little over sharpened.

Interesting shot... love the varied grains of the metal, and the full range of b/w's. Reminds me of a key/lock.

A stumper, so meets the challenge. A brilliant image. The detail is fantastic. The lines are great. Balanced and symetrical comp works wonderfully. I like the dynamic range. Among best of show.

This reminds me of the lock on my filing cabinet, but that would be one strong macro!

Scratch resistant hammertone finish, made of galvanised sheet metal, table top. I like the macro.

Nice macro. I like the lighting/shadows and texture of the brush marks on the metal. Have no idea what it is though.
