What a great find, perfect for this challenge. I might like to see a closer shot of this umbrella - but I also enjoy the background elements of the faded wood and peeling paint as well but I find the grasses or whatever that is in the top right a little distracting to the lines that you've otherwise developed in the composition.

Unusual and interesting subject. Background is a little distracting.

Interesting object! Nice crop.

Very nice find. You know what I wish though? I wish that you could desaturate all but the inside of the umbrella. This would be a perfect example of that technique I think. The only problem would be the orange thing on the right side of the photo, which I find distracting to the umbrella. I do realize that it's rusty too, and adds to the rustness of the photo, but I just think it takes away from this beautiful find. Rusty, and interesting. Congrats. Focus and clarity are really good and I like the placement of the subject as well. Slightly close crop on the left side, kind of nipped off one of the corners of the umbrella. What would something like this be used for? Strange indeed. ~Heather~

the umbrella more on its own - it's got such beautiful colours - would have had more impact

That's cool, like the subject and the background, very good

A beautiful foto. A little tighter cropping would have helped. Fringe objects create a cluttered appearance that detracts.

Interesting item, would love to see it with a different background, but probably ways too much to carry someplace else.
