Just rotated the pic with a couple of pixels to be more straight, curves, brightness&contrast and hue/saturation. Wish this whas advanced editing so I could enhance thet sky by making it a darker blue or something, but it is not so this is it.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Wow, what can I say that hasn't been said already? I loved this shot during the challenge, you told an entire story with one picture. Truly one of those "pictures" that's worth a 1,000 words.

The only imporvements that I could see happening are from, like you said, advanced editing. Bring out the sky more, clone out the pole on the right side that is going out of the picture, it's very distracting and bring down the contrast just a tad, a very small tad and you have a great shot here ready to sell!

I loved your recent candids also, keep up the great work!

Good Luck In Future Challenges!

What a story! I love this shot, makes me ask lots of questions about who lived here, what it was like, how the train got there, why it's been abandoned, etc. Looks just a tad oversharpened in the tree behind it to me. Composition is great, lighting is good but I wish there was just a bit more light on the "front" of the train by the steps.

It's interesting to see such an obviously old and abandoned train with its stairs and bench right there. Great subject. I also like the composition - great shot.

This is too cute lol. In this light you get more of the rust colors I guess.. But I can't help thinking what it would look like in a more interesting light, maybe try this place in the morning or evening. GJ

An excellent subject. If the left side could have more lightand the focus on the background trees diminished. That is the side that has been made into a home with the steps, windows, tree, and chair. If the sun never gets in the right position to photograph this from the front of the house, then artificial lighting and a night shot would work better for me. I would also crop off everything to the left of the car.
