 My fridge has a drip, so I always have a bowl in there to catch it. The bowl of water always becomes ice. Today I dumped it in my sink and said, "whoa, cool!" So, this is ice melting in my sink. The blue background is a dirty cereal bowl also in my sink.

I couldn't get enough stinking light on it (2 macro flashes and my Maglite), so I ended up bumping it up to 1.3 seconds, which probably why it's not as sharp as it could be even though it was on a tripod. I know, I could have bumped the ISO, but well, I didn't, heh. In the future I'd probably put something reflective under the ice. I think my light was just going straight through into a void.

Very intriguing image. I think it involves water and surface tension but I can't get beyond that. This is one of the most interesting images.
