This could use a bit more contrast. it seems a bit pale on my monitor.

The intact top of the apple is appealing, but the oxidizing core is not. Might be stronger with the geometric black squares blacker against a whiter field, but the juxtaposition with geometric shapes may be too much of a stretch. I wonder if this might have come out better with the core artfully placed among some fallen leaves.
