Greetings from the Critique Club!

Well, what can I add to your red ribbon? How to make it blue? Okay, desaturate the red out and then bump up the blue hue :)

Okay, seriously, this is a great shot as you well know by now, congrats your ribbon. What do I see that could make it better? Not a lot but just maybe straightening up the shot a bit and bringing maybe one or two more of the needles into focus. That's really about it, this is a wonderful shot and you did very well!

Good Luck In Future Challenges!

I'm new so i still didn't learn how to post comments... but here is the process:
neatimage
Contrast
Greyscale
cloned out residu around the small needle (thank you Aleks)

This picture is a Billboard where I put needles, i cut one in half... and to put even more emphasis on the middle i used Labuda's Syringe to have that water drop :)

thanks everyone!!!

Excellent detail, particularly in the drop....I would have taken out, pre shot the front most vertical item, other than that, this is very interesting and very well done....The drop is great!

I am so impressed. I have NO idea how you did that.

My highest vote of the challenge.

Nice focus and DoF

The water droplet is clear and sharp. Having it centered however seems to make the image rather static. Maybe a different perspective (maybe at the level of the holes) could help make the image more dynamic as well. 6

Great, but maybe the drop shouldn´t be centered.

A 9 good work

Very creative!

Very cool. Superb lighting and selective DOF. Only improvement I can think of would be to skip the close out-of-focus needle left of center. 8

I like the way the repeating dots have been captured in the water droplet.

I love the strong vertical motion of this, and the bw works very well.

nice title and overall presentation

Like this one a lot. Different, great subject, nice close-up. Water adds that extra "umph."

Nice, but stopping down the aperture would have brought more DOF and made all the needles in focus
