Not much subject comparing to the size of the photo. Also blurry a bit... sorry...

Cool idea, if only it was composed a little better.

I don't see an artifical light, and the time is actually blurry. Not sure this was a wise choice for the challenge. Good luck

Could have been sharper and I don't like the placement.

Well.....it is original, but not very interesting. Wish it was a bit sharper. The blue is a pretty color!

i hope u don't get bash for been too "simplistic". i like it a lot, simple yes, but interesting and original.

: )

Kinda low interest. 6 Swash

Good idea. I don't know how people are taking it for a challenge shot. Looks a bit overexposed, even in almost total blackness. Good luck! - Inspzil

Great idea! 7 Jak

Great idea and composition. Just a little clearer (sharper) would have been nice. Would've been really neat if it said 3:36 AM or something (you know when you wake up after a nightmare and you look at the time). I dunno. Just an idea. 8.

This photo has very little 'subjective' impact. "What" you choose to photograph is very important. It's half the battle. "How" you choose to photograph it is the other half. When you create a nice combination and balance between the two, you will have great shots :) - setzler

Yup, that's what the time looks like to me in the morning before I can find my glasses. This is a total personal pet peeve, but the image is tilted, could you straighten it for me?
10/21/2002 04:45:00 AM
Good idea but the challenge says "...to dramatically light the subject "
10/21/2002 02:55:00 AM
7:36 AM would have been more shocking. I really hate it when my alarm wakes me up in the morning!! Yes, it's a single artifical light source, but come on. LOL

Too much negative space. Not enough clarity.
