what a shame my lenes were not good enough still a good image.

On golden pond! The water and reflection are wonderful - my only criticism, and it is slight, is that I find the photo just a little too centered.

On golden pond indeed. Beautiful contrast created by the whites and grays of the gull against that backdrop.

The water is quite striking! Bird also has nice detail and you caught him admiring his own reflection. The water actually grabs my attention more than the seagull but his colors are different enough that he's not completely overwhelmed by his surroundings. Not sure I like the centered crop.

The color of the water is stunning. Your subject is sharp and I like how it is reflected. One of my favorites in this challenge. Gave you a high score. Good Luck

Wow! Talk about some gorgeous reflections!!! I expect to see this in the top 10. Really nice focus on the bird, looks like his beak might be a bit OOF but what can you do with wildlife, they don't always listen like they're supposed to!

Beautiful shot, it prooves that pictures of ordinary everyday animals can compete with lios and tigers in wildlife challenges. 9 here!

Was the water colour added in post poscessing or was it really that beautiful?

The water looks beautiful. It's funny, it's so rippley but his reflection is fairly still. Love that golden colour too.

I love the water, looks amazing...would have preferred a more interesting composition as placing the bird in the centre doesn't quite work for me...7
