 This was a fun shoot. The baloon flew in completely unexpectedly... I was debating on whether or not to inlclude it because it does draw some attention from the main subject.. but it was too cool an anamoly to pass up for the textbook defenition of what a good photo should be..

Good idea with the bonus of the hot air balloon, but it competes with the main subject for my attention. I would recommand cropping part of the right side and making it all larger.

Fun image, I tought of doing this type of shot but I was to lazy to move the furniture. The baloon in the background adds some interest to the shot, I assume it was just there by luck especailly the way it is framed by the trees.

Nice expression of the theme, I find the ballon distracting instead of adding to the scene though. I like the small room vs large out doors contrast but you might be hurt by the image size limitation of the contest, I feel this would look much better in a bigger format. 8

My eye is drawn to the hot air balloon, it stands out nicely up there. I know it's not the focus of the pic but it's a pleasant little detail. You've done nicely with this idea, it's really quirky looking, I'd have come in just a mite closer and hidden the lamp wire behind the table leg too.
