 This is the 2008 version of

Processing was basically just curves, hue/saturation a bit, rotate to straighten horizon, select a feathered selection around rider and then change to select inverse and then noise ninja (if you do it on the part with the rider it causes halos). I then cropped out a few of the large water droplets that were causing specular hightlights but left most of them in to show depth. Add border and save for web.

I hate sports shots, but I still gave this a 7 because it's so perfect. The silhouetting and the light in the water drops... perfect.
