Always nice to see a shot of Reunion tower and the Dallas Skyline.

It was worth the wait. Congrats on 10th place.

Nicely done Jack. You didn't get a comment from me because I usually don't comment on things I score relatively well, and this is no exception. Saw your post on making the top 10, and wanted to say congrats.

Stunning picture. The lightning is fantastic. To my eyes, cropping a bit more off the bottom might have been nice.

Way to get the lightening in there. Too many pictures of cities at night for this challenge. It seems a lot of people went to a downtown somewhere and took a picture at night. At least you have the lightening in there.

The tilted tower takes away from this otherwise wonderful shot. Spectacular. 7

Too bad about the keystoning in the tower. You could have easily corrected this in Photoshop with the Free Transform function since this was Advance edit rules. I would like to see the corrected version. Good capture

Hey, I live here too. I have seen this many times! Fantastic!

Amazingly 'dark' capture of the lightning while retaining plenty of detail in the foreground. There appears to be no ambient glow around the bolt at all. Interesting scene and structure.

Ten. Yep. Very nice clarity, and the lightning adds to the shot. It's a good shot without it, too.

What a cool photo, I may have chopped just a little more off of the bottom...but very well done.. Good luck.

Nice catch, although I think the lightning only plays a minor role in this image. The tower is the main point of attention and probably would have done better with another type of sky, maybe even daylight.

Nice job with the lightning! I visited Dallas a couple times a few years back, and found it to be a beautiful city. I never did quite find out what exactly this building is (with the lights), but I thought it was a beautiful addition to the skyline.

Goodness - great timing here! I like this shot - pretty moody and pretty pretty too! Your choice of cropping might have been improved a little, methinks, such as cutting off the bottom from the base of the trees... And though I do like the big glowy ball thing, I think it diverts / competes for attention from the lightning ; chopping out the top of the tower would leave an awkward looking column but it might be worth it. dunno, would be an awkward call, that... The flow of the picture might be better if it were displayed in landscape, rather than portrait. I'd also be tempted to play with a bit of an increase in contrast in the sky - darkening the sky and making the lightning more prominent... I totally love the blackness of the office buildings though, and they very definitely add to the overall feel of the picture. 7.

Very dramatic - well captured - very clean lines - love the dark grey building against the less dark sky.

I would of cropped a bit more off the bottom, to just below the trees, but this is a great shot, way to make the lightening crackle behind 2 interesting buildings : ).
