Maybe a little too subtle, focusing on the bud, but it is a good shallow DOF. Might be crisper at a lower ISO, though I don't know how much control you have with your camera. (BTW, I think your lower scores are way out of line considering that so many high scoring entries showed limited DOF, but not narrow DOF).

Pretty flowers but nothing really jumps out at me, what part were you focusing on?

The border is very distracting.

DOF good. Image seems grainy.

The composition here is quite nice although I'd like to see more depth in the forget-me-nots as the focus seems to have fallen on the purple flower instead. It also looks a little oversaturated.

Great use of a shallow DOF on this. The unopened buds seem to the focal point, but personally I would find the photo more interesting if one of the flowers was the focal point.

I think I would have left off the border. Where did you want the focus?

I love this kind of flower. Just my opinion, but the border (esp. color) really detracts from this for me. It's also a bit grainy for my taste. Nice isolation of the upper flowers and I like the overall composition very much.

Generally soft all over, but the more I look at it the more I like. Very pretty subject and colours, well done.

Your focus seems to be a bit off, but you did a good use of DOF and the composition is really nice.

The focal point seems off to me. It feels as if the front flower should be the primary subject for this composition. Also the border fights with the image for attention (distracting rather than complementary).
