 I placed black pebbles in a bowl of water. For lighting, I used SB800 bounced from a white foam board. I used a smaller aperture for adequate depth of field.

This is a fun abstract. I'm generally a fan of narrow DOF and I like the detail of the rocks in the focused range. In this case the impact may have been stronger to maximize the DOF and let everything really pop out. JMO of course. Good luck.

An optical illusion abstract. Very nifty. When I focus on one rock some others appear to be floating. Technically very well done and creative. (no vote)
