I once again must say to you just how much I
LOVE
my 'Canon 180mm Macro lens'.
These are the type of shots I love to do, close up macro abstract style.
Lots of processing with this one in photoshop, with burning, dodging, and a small amount of cloning to get the effect I wanted.
I used 'gradient map' for this strong impact, high contrast, black & white macro, abstract floral image.
I feel it looks a little like the back of a bridal dress, and not a lily at all.
By the way, this one was taken before my camera accident.

This would have done very well, I think. There's great depth.
I had the same problem with my entry. I dodged and burned like crazy and then remembered it was Basic.

Part of it looks like a bridal dres, but then there are spidery sort of legs coming off of it ==:-O
