 This is a close up macro shot of the center of a white lily bud, just as it began to open its white petals.

The stigma, style, ovary, and ovule are often known collectively as the 'carpel' or female parts of the flower.

The outer parts look like they end in lips, with pink lipstick. Quite feminine :-)
