 Day 17 of 30 Flowers

Oh, look: MORE purple :-) But just a little. This was taken ridiculously early in the morning after I dropped my daughter off at the farthest airport from the house and needed to wait out rush hour. So I went to a wildlife reservation and for awhile had the place to myself, except for some bunnies having breakfast and a few egrets and herons, mostly out of camera range. The light was truly golden which gave a wonderful tint to the grasses in the meadow. Gentle breeze. Peaceful scene worth remembering when life gets hectic.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped slightly, cloned out a couple of odd grass pieces, saturated the purples, added border, resized, sharpened.

Sweet shot! it makes me think maybe a "weeds" side challenge would be...a challenge. They are more difficult to find & much more difficult to get a good shot of. This one is an excellent expression of thistle energy.

Unfortunately I can tell where you cloned your bits of grass out, but that's only because I was sitting close to my monitor admiring your background textures. That tight DOF sure made for a pretty background!
