Yet another kind of Swallowtail on the Butterfly Bush. And I still have a couple more stashed on my hard drive ;-) I'm telling you, this bush is awesome!

I like the bits of purple behind the butterfly's wings in this one and the somewhat nonstandard perspective on the bug. Looking very much like an insect from this angle!

PP - converted from RAW, rotated, cropped, increased contrast, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction.

Nicely exposed. I like the sharpness of the spots on the butterfly's abdomen. Nicely blurred background, too.

A spectacular shot! The wings look like a burden to carry in this image. They look huge and heavy to carry. The lighting, depth, and coloring is stunning!

This is my favorite kind of butterfly shot--action. It shows amazing athelticisim, power & grace of these seemingly delicate creatures. Keep on clickin' & get some more of these!
