Day 4

In all honesty, Prince William could drop down on one knee with a rock twice this size and I'd probably run screaming at this point in my life. But it doesn't stop me from playing dress up every once in awhile :D

We decided body parts count right? :)

FYI- I walked around for a few hours, went to the store and everything, before realizing I hadn't ever finished painting my nails...

Taken outside against the late evening sky with my camera balancing on my face, my mom walked outside and started laughing at me for that, and my dogs were really curious why I was lying on the ground. I had to resort to the flash to get enough light on my hands without completely overexposing the sky. Any suggestions how to deal with that better?

Also, I'm super bad at selecting backgrounds in photoshop. I avoid selecting things period because you can always tell when I do it. But here I really wanted the sky a more whimsical color so I gave it a shot.

Really nicely done. I particularly like the white vignette.

First - super creative. Love it! Second, the F-stop looks good to me. Were you using on camera flash or off-camera? I would try some kind of diffuser on the flash and use the same set-up to see what happens.

Nice ring. I would have put nail polish on the end of the applicator though. Other than that nice shot.

Whoa... Some rock! ;-) I like the vignetting and colors a lot. Looks like the nail polish isn't on the end of the applicator though... :0P

This is hilarious. I can't believe you never finished!! haaahahha!! Overall, your shot has great focus and I quite like the treatment given. You didn't do a terrible job selecting. :)

To get the sky looking the way you wanted it to look you can try lowering your shutter speed to 1/15 or lower but then you would need a tripod unless you have some sort of image stabilization system on your camera or lens. Nice shot btw and your hands look great.
