 Bailey's brother (well he's not really her brother he's her cousin Cody the retriever) had an operation today. 2 years ago he was chasing a stick which landed badly and went into the back of his throat causing soft tissue damage. Very painful (and dangerous), but he recovered.

Last week he developed an abscess. Off to the vet and it appears there was a tiny piece of that stick that had been sitting there all this time. Poor Cody is feeling very sorry for himself tonight, so Bailey helped me make him a card.

Needless to say these days Cody chases balls and rope toys.

*note to self, must get Art to show me how to make the backs of the cards look right*

Awwwwww, Sue! What a great card Cody got. I'm sure it went a long way to helping him get better.

Ya know, one of the best things about being a photographer (and knowing something of Ps) is that we can make our OWN cards. It's so much more to the point and, well more full of meaning than the garden variety Hallmark.

The examples above prove this ... Nicely done.

bailey is the bestest medicine for cody i reckon . i hope he appreciates the excellent artwork his brother/cousin's mother made for him ... !!..:)
