 I know ...its a water drop shot... but this is a site for learning and in the short period of time that I have been here I have learned a ton of stuff..ie how to take a water drop shot. So here it is. On the advice from John Setzler, I am including my comments in regard to the shot. I am very happy with the results. My reasons for using this shot ,in addition to the above, is that black coffee always seems to symbolize strength." Strong black coffee". In addition, strength is often percieved to be derived from coffee. I thought the image fit the challenge.
Not much was done to the shot other than cropping and resizing.

That's nice. Good stop action to add to the interest. As opposed to just a coffee cup sitting there.

Background colour could be differentiate between the colour of the cup. It looks a little pink too?

A little cliche, with a drip picture but still well done. Great focus and color. Not sure how many people will like you idea of strength/power enough though.

I wonder if a different colored background would have helped eliminate the rose colored hue in the photo? Just a thought. Otherwise a good concept for the challenge.

Seems cropped to much at top to me. I'd have liked to see the top edge of the cup.

Good capture, good lightning though I have some daubts about the pinkish color on the left. Very good image.

I would have to question the science behind the claim your title makes, but it it a good picture.

Very good shoot, not very close to the proposed subject, but it was dificult to shoot at "strength" anyway!

That coffee dosn't look that strong. But indeed coffee is "fuel for strenth".
