Thanks for all the votes.
This is my eldest daughter Amy who is 5. Got the idea when both my daughters started having a 'tug-of-war' comp in the garden. It took an absolute age to get her to only pull and not sway from side to side. Got the shot from my new camera (only 1 day old)and I am so pleased with it - definately it will adorn the walls of our home with pride.
Thanks again for all the constructive comments |

What a great shot. I hope it does well. I like the blur of the jumprope, the expression the childs face, the crop (and I don't usually like tall skinny crops), the light, and the slin tones. Nice post. 8 |

You cought a great moment in this image, you can see the strain and the joy on the child's face. I felt involved in the image, feeling almost like I had the other end of the jump rope. |

Hehe. Fantasticly well thought out, and even better executed. The lighting could do with some work, but otherwise nigh-on perfect! (9) |

Great photo. Adorable expression, showing her strength. The leading line kind of pulls away from the focal point, because of the yellow, but not much you can do about it. 9 |

Cute and very well done. The rope leading into the lens is very neat. |
