 this wasp came into our room last night when i opened the door .. he's a lot different and smaller from the ones i was photographing on the firetrail .. i put him in a container with water overnight and this morning i put him on this flower .. he was pretty active and i didnt have time to get many photographs .. i let him go outside after taking a few shots ..

Sounds like you are like me, Roz. I used to squeal and go Eeeeeeeeeew, whenever I saw a bug of any kind. But now, a bug means "Oh Boy!!" and out comes the macro lens :)

This is awesome! I love how he pokes his ever-so-detailed sharp little head out of the glowy blur. I never knew insects could be SO fascinating!
