altho i'm totally into dpc i also put some of my stuff in flickr .. anyway this morning i was having a look at some of my friend's work in there and found this brilliant mosaic thingo .. anyway it's a slice of my life because i was doing it this morning .. !!
big huge labs is a link to the site where you can make the mosaics ..
the software allows you to save the image to your own computer and its a reasonable size for online stuff ..
you would probably have seen most of these pics of katee at some time or other, but i thought ppl might be interested in checking out big huge labs for the mosaic and they have other stuff in there as well ...
also because its the first time i've used it it didnt turn out exactly how i wanted & the borders/divisions arent that great .. but its a real easy way to combine a lot images without even going into photoshop .. !! .. well that's assuming you have a whole heap of photographs saved for web already on your computer .. !!
you might be able to use larger images .. i'm not sure .. :)
later .. fixed the borders a bit . better than it was, but not great .. :)
Thanks for sharing the site with us Roz. I think your mosaic turned out pretty good. I like that you took the many pictures of Katee and put them together so we can see her many personalities.
So, uh, you like your dog, is that what you're finally telling all of us after all this time? :) Of course I'm teasing, as I already know you do!
I love all the different poses and processes you've done to combine this together. What a great idea. I understand that you see the imperfections of it and feel the need to fix them, but it really looks amazing!
A Katee Collage!!! She is such a cute pup! They're all such cute shots! I tried picking out a favorite but can't decide, I think I like the one where she has wings & the one below that the best, but like I said they're all adorable!
Roz, of all the photographers on 'slice of life' I spend most time on yours...peering into them, and looking at each individual overlay and composite, working out what goes into each to make the final Gestalt. I feel as if you've almost conveyed to us Kaitee's and Ali's personalities in some of your photos. I mostly love the shot of Kaitee chasing the calf.....totally oblivious of the discrepancy of size.....a little dog with big heart.
